Clear sky is definitely worth the play but I haven't had a chance to pick up Pripyat. Last thing i can think of is.there are two other games in the series.Clear sky and Call of Pripyat. There are several endings depending on the choices you make towards the end.have fun with those. As Darting Flea said.the game gets rough in some spots. Quick save and Quick load are your friends. And don't skimp on the stuff to keep you alive and healthy. You'll get some decent armor and artifacts down the road.I wouldn't try to buy the expensive stuff early on. If you're not bothered losing a bit of realism or by a little text editing, fix the max carry weight to something that will allow you to loot what you come across without having to make several trips back and forth to town each time you get into a firefight.ĭon't despair about how bad of a shot you are at first.as you go through the game (and become a 'more experienced stalker') the game has a sort of behind the scenes leveling system that improves the behind the scene stats that handle combat variables.
